Petra Vlhová, Slovak alpine skier, is one of the most popular athletes in Slovakia. She was born on 13 June 1995 in Liptovský Mikuláš (Slovakia), where, as a little girl, she took her first turns on the home slopes of Liptov.

- Olympic champion - slalom, WOG Beijing 2022
- World Champion - giant slalom, Åre 2019
- Overall champion and winner of big crystal globe - season 2021/2022
- Winner of multiple small crystal globes
Besides sports trophies, she was also awarded as slovak Athlete of the year four times in a row (2019-2022). In January 2024, the president of Slovakia, Zuzana Čaputová, awarded her with the state honour - Ľudovít Štúr Order 1st class, for her outstanding achievements in the field of sports and for significantly spreading the good name of the Slovak Republic abroad.
